Storage

Our cookies are baked fresh, generously portioned and meant to be enjoyed with intention. Proper storage helps preserve both texture and flavour.

— Store cookies properly sealed in an airtight bag or wrap

— Frozen, they keep for up to 2 months

— Refrigerated, cookies stay fresh for 1–2 weeks

A few of our favourite methods.

— Room temperature (best for filled cookies): thaw for a few hours until soft and set

— Oven-warmed: preheat to 350°F (175°C) and warm 3–5 minutes

— Microwave (use with care): heat in 10-second intervals, checking each time

These cookies are meant to be savoured — slowly, generously, and exactly how you like them. However you indulge, enjoy every bite.

How big are the cookies?

Our cookies are generously sized, each weighing in at 125 grams or 4.5 ounces. They offer a delightful, substantial treat that's perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth or sharing with a friend.

How long after I place my order will it be processed?

Cookies are available on a preorder basis with a fulfillment date listed. All orders are shipped on Mondays. To ensure maximum FRESHNESS, all orders received by 9AM EST are shipped on Monday the following day, so that they don't sit in a warehouse on the weekend. This way you can enjoy our cookies at their very best. Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or holidays. 

I have a nut allergy; can I still eat your cookies?

Our cookies are baked in a commercial kitchen where wheat, gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts, nuts, and tree nuts are present. Although we strive to minimize cross-contamination, we cannot completely eliminate the risk. If you have a severe allergy, we advise consulting a medical professional before enjoying our products.

My cookies arrived slightly melted, what do I do?

Softening of cookies and toppings may occur during hot summer months. Place in the freezer just until firm. Even if your cookies arrive slightly melted, they still taste just as delicious! The heat might give them a softer, gooier texture, but that won’t affect their flavor.

What if my cookies arrive when I am not home?

Please keep an eye out for your package! It’s not advised to leave your cookies in the sun, rain, etc. for long periods of time! Ensure you are able to bring your cookies indoors or into room temperature asap.

What if my cookies arrive damaged?

Once your cookies leave our hands and are with third party carriers, we cannot control what happens to your package. Please keep this in mind when placing your order. Chip Happens Cookies is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. We do not accept returns, refunds, or cancellations, nor do we replace lost or damaged items. If your order is lost or damaged during shipping, please contact your local carrier to file a claim.

Do you ship to a P.O. Box?

No. Unfortunately, we do not ship to P.O. Boxes.
